Reopening after modernization

New owners are investing 3 million euros

With new owners and after a complete renovation, a new era begins at the Airport Club Frankfurt. There has been a lot of change before and behind the scenes of the business club, which is operating since 1988 at Frankfurt Airport. The rooms have been completely modernized, and for the first time, Junior memberships are offered.

Since the acquisition of the Club in 2015 by the new shareholders Torsten Hollstein (CR Holding GmbH) and KP Kofler (Kofler & Company), the Airport Club has undergone an optical and technical rejuvenation. The new owners want to carefully enhance the Airport Club, founded in 1988 by Deutsche Bank AG and Deutsche Lufthansa AG, and establish it as an even more prestigious center of international business. They invested so far around 3 million euros in its modernization.

The new look
Reina Mehnert from Perfect Raumdesign Berlin has created a fresh new Look for the Airport Club. She has succeeded in transforming the ambiance technically and stylistically into today’s era, while still preserving the exclusive style and refined charm of the prestigious business club. The furniture and armchairs of the Italian manufactory Giorgetti in fresh colors and noble materials highlight the successful rejuvenation. Matching are the new uniforms for the 30-club employees, created by the designer Anastasia Liebe, who was awarded Talent of the Year of the Frankfurt Style Award 2015. Thanks to the kind support of the Art Gallery Wiesbaden an exhibition with art works by the Meerbusch artist Jörg Döring with the theme “Hifly” temporarily complements the existing art collection of the Airport Club.

The high-quality new co-working lounge invites for undisturbed work. The technology before and behind the scenes in all the premises of the airport club was renewed and all 34 conference rooms and the bathrooms were refreshed. “We have polished the Airport Club with the latest technology, fine materials, fresh colors and other services,” says Reina Mehnert from Perfect Raumdesign Berlin.

Torsten Hollstein, CEO of CR Holding elucidates “The Frankfurt Airport Club offers an exclusive ambience with a personal yet discreet service.” KP Kofler, CEO of K & K Group AG, adds: “Our investment in the Frankfurt Airport Club is an excellent opportunity to expand our premium catering service to a new and international audience. “

Junior memberships for the first time
Thanks to its pleasant atmosphere, the club has served since the 1980s as the location at Frankfurt Airport to do business or to relax between two flights or appointments. This offering is now also available at a reduced membership fee to young people up to 35 years: The annual membership fee amounts to 500 euro instead of 1500 euro. The registration fee of 1000 euros is also abated.

Discretion
At the Airport Club, personalities from Germany and abroad, from a variety of backgrounds like business, science, culture and politics, meet and benefit from numerous privileges and services tailored to their needs. “We know exactly how we can make live more comfortable and enjoyable for our members,” says Roland Ross the Club´s Director.

The long-serving chef Stefan Messner guarantees culinary excellence in the club restaurant. It stands for an ambitious cuisine geared to the seasons but also masterfully prepares club classics such as the legendary Wiener Schnitzel and the Kalbstafelspitz. The wine menu with over 300 items from all over the world can be enjoyed by members and their guests in the restaurant, the bar and the Smokers Lounge, where an extensive selection of cigars is stored in a humidor.
