Following the excitement and celebration of Idaho’s admission to the Union on July 3, 1890 the first meeting of The Arid Club took place and 60 charter members were enrolled. 132 later The Arid Club has two hundred and 83 members and a staff of 23 full and part time employees. The Arid Club is member-owned and governed by a member elected Board of Directors.
