Private view James Lloyd

James Lloyd, born in London in 1971, is one of England’s most renowned portraitists whose work has garnered many awards. His work draws on a number of diff erent English and European traditions of portraiture and still-life painting. An individual and expressive style, characterised by lively and analytical brushstrokes, has emerged from these traditions.

In Germany, James Lloyd is represented by Galerie Hübner & Hübner in Frankfurt’s West End. The gallery has been dedicated to exhibiting a variety of art media for more than 20 years, with a clear focus on painting. Twenty-seven regular artists grace the walls of the gallery with fresh, predominantly figurative works.

The private view starts the exhibtion of his work from May-October 2019 at the Airport Club. Pieces on loan from private collections will also be shown. The artist will be in attendance.
