Prof. Michael Baumann, Chairman of the Board and Scientific Director of the German Cancer Research Centre, provides exclusive insights into new research approaches that aim to prevent cancer before it develops or detect it much earlier than is currently possible. He explains which risk factors are now better understood, how modern early detection works and how individualised prevention strategies can already effectively protect people today.
