Podiumstalk & Dinner mit Prof. Enno-Ilka Uhde und Dr. Kristina Schröder
We cordially invite you to an extraordinary evening where art, politics and personal perspectives engage in an inspiring dialogue.
‘You have to carry chaos within yourself to be able to give birth to a transcendental star – politics and art in condensation.’
Panel discussion & dinner with Prof. Enno-Ilka Uhde and Dr. Kristina Schröder
23 September 2025
Start: 6 p.m.
In an exciting panel discussion, Prof. Enno-Ilka Uhde and Dr. Kristina Schröder will examine how art can reflect and condense political processes – and how political experiences find expression in art. The focus will be on the work ‘70 YEARS – IN PEACE AND FREEDOM,’ which Prof. Uhde created in 2019 to mark the 70th anniversary of the Federal Republic of Germany – with Dr. Schröder as patron at the time. Six years later, after a pandemic, war in Europe and domestic political turmoil, the central question arises: How much peace and freedom remain? A poignant review and, at the same time, an invitation to an open discussion about the state of our democracy – artistically, politically and personally.
Moderator: Florian Rentsch.
The personalities of the evening:
Prof. Enno-Ilka Uhde, director, performance designer and visual artist. As a crossover artist between the opera stage, social vision and visual art, Uhde has been staging spectacular stage productions, socially influential large-scale events and multimedia artworks for decades – always at the interface of aesthetics, politics and public space.
Dr. Kristina Schröder, former Federal Minister, publicist and management consultant.
The doctor of sociology was Federal Minister for Family Affairs from 2009 to 2013. Today, she works as an author and consultant – with clear positions on social change, equality and political culture.
Florian Rentsch, former Minister of State, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Sparda Banks e. V.
As a former Minister of Economics and current Special Representative for the Frankfurt Financial Centre, Rentsch brings political experience and economic expertise to the moderation.
Participation fee:
€105.00 per person, including a 3-course menu and corresponding beverages.
