The COVID-19 pandemic has had a lasting impact on politics, science and society. An event at the Airport Club will be dedicated to reflecting on this period. Among those expected to attend is virologist Hendrik Streeck, who is regarded as one of the most prominent scientific voices of the pandemic.

Female Financial Power

With the ‘Female Financial Power’ event, the Airport Club, together with selected partners, is sending a strong signal regarding the role of women in the financial world and the economy. The focus is on topics such as financial self-determination, career paths and leadership in the financial sector. The aim is to share perspectives, strengthen networks and provide new impetus for greater diversity in the economy.

REQUESTED: Lord Mayor Mike Josef to be a guest at the Airport Club Frankfurt

Mike Josef is currently the key figure shaping the political and economic development of the Main metropolis.

During the event, he will speak about the current challenges and future prospects for the city of Frankfurt. Topics such as economic development, infrastructure, housing, mobility and Frankfurt’s role as an international financial and business hub will be the main focus.

Longevity

There is much discussion about longevity as a key issue for the future – specifically, how medical innovations, prevention and new technologies can help people stay healthy and active for longer.

Longevity is increasingly regarded as one of the major growth markets of the coming decades. Billions are being invested worldwide in start-ups, medical research and new technologies designed to enable people to live longer, healthier lives. At the same time, the topic raises important social questions – such as the future of healthcare systems, the world of work and how to deal with demographic change.

REQUESTED: Martin Blessing to speak at the Airport Club Frankfurt

Martin Blessing served as CEO of Commerzbank for many years and is one of the most experienced managers in the German banking sector. In September 2025, he was appointed Personal Representative for Investment by Friedrich Merz, Chancellor of Germany. During the planned event, Martin Blessing will speak about the importance of investment for Germany as a business location. The focus will be on issues of competitiveness, the financing of innovation, and the role of capital and businesses in strengthening growth and infrastructure.
