Switzerland as a model of success – what entrepreneurs and investors need to know
€105.00 including a three-course menu and accompanying drinks
Political upheavals, geopolitical tensions, rising national debt and economic uncertainties are increasingly shaping the global landscape. For entrepreneurs, investors and high-net-worth individuals, one key question is coming to the fore:
Where can wealth and business decisions find stable and reliable long-term conditions?
For decades, Switzerland has been synonymous with stability, competitiveness and financial soundness. But what underpins this success? Which institutional, economic and social factors make Switzerland one of the most attractive locations worldwide? What challenges must the country overcome in an increasingly fragmented world? Why do international entrepreneurs and investors seek access to the Swiss financial centre, particularly in times of uncertainty? And what role can the Swiss franc and the country’s unique framework conditions play in the long-term preservation of wealth?
We are delighted to welcome the following distinguished speakers:
Erik Jakob, Swiss Consul-General in Frankfurt am Main, is a diplomat and a recognised economic expert. He has been representing Switzerland’s interests in the Rhine-Main region since September 2024. Prior to this, he headed the Directorate for Economic Promotion at the Swiss Federal Department of Economic Affairs in Bern for over twelve years, holding the rank of ambassador.
Dr. Thomas Stucki, Chief Investment Officer at St.Galler Kantonalbank, is responsible for the bank’s investment policy and its implementation in asset management. Previously, he was responsible for managing the foreign exchange reserves of the Swiss National Bank and has many years’ experience at the interface between monetary policy and international financial markets.
Curdin Schett and Matthias Kaufmann, senior advisers at St. Galler Kantonalbank and members of the Airport Club, have been advising entrepreneurs, families and high-net-worth private clients on strategic wealth management issues for many years. Their advice is characterised by many years of market experience spanning all stock market cycles. They consistently focus on their clients’ individual goals, life stages and aspirations, thereby creating a sound foundation for sustainable and successful wealth management decisions.
This evening is all about Switzerland, not only in terms of the programme but also in terms of the cuisine. Our head chef will take you on a delightful journey through the various regions of Switzerland – from Grisons specialities to traditional Bernese rösti and the famous Zürcher Geschnetzeltes.
Look forward to an enlightening evening with high-calibre speakers, inspiring discussions, in-depth analysis and culinary delights from Switzerland.
